Specialist Basement Waterproofing

A successful basement conversion starts with keeping the space dry.

Stonedry uses proven waterproofing systems designed to manage groundwater and protect the finished room for years to come. Depending on the property, this may include cavity drain membranes, drainage channels and sump and pump systems.

By combining specialist waterproofing, insulation, heating and lighting, Stonedry can transform a cold, damp basement into a warm, comfortable living space suitable for everyday use.

Guarantees and Certification

Stonedry Bespoke Basement Conversions is a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and an approved contractor for the damp proofing products used within its basement conversion work.

Where applicable, Stonedry waterproofing systems can include long-term guarantees, including up to 30 years on membranes, timber treatments and DPC treatments.

On completion of the work, relevant certification will be provided where applicable. This may include:

  • NICEIC electrical certification
  • Gas Safe plumbing and heating certification
  • Building Control completion certificate, where required
  • Waterproofing product guarantees

These guarantees and certificates are included as part of the completed project where they apply.

Insurance-Backed Guarantees

For customers who require additional protection, Stonedry may also be able to offer an external insurance-backed guarantee for up to 10 years.

This is provided through Westminster Guarantee Protection Ltd and is available at an additional cost.
