With the increase of people working from home, a cellar or basement can provide the perfect location for a study or office.
Stonedry Bespoke Basement Conversions was requested to convert a wet cellar into an office. The customer’s main concern was that the cellar regularly flooded when the water table rose. Stonedry were able to exceed the customer’s expectations by using a sump & pump and aqua channel system that would ensure a permanently dry room. In addition, we recommended underfloor heating with Terracotta tiles which meant that the customer did not have to heat the whole house when working from home, saving the customer money.
